Description:

The spatial features show Oregon’s high and medium TMDL development priorities based on the list of category 5 impaired waters (303(d) list) included in the 2024 Integrated Report. High priority TMDLs are targeted for TMDL development and completion in the next two years, or by end of 2026. Medium priority TMDLs are targeted for TMDL development and completion immediately after the high priority TMDLs are complete. These TMDLs are estimated to be complete between 2027 and 2033. The schedule and how the assessment units will be grouped into distinct TMDL projects may be refined as the project develops. Low priority TMDL waters are not included in the map. Low priority TMDLs will be moved up in priority when the high and medium priority TMDLs have been completed. The federal Clean Water Act requires a priority ranking for all impaired waters listed on the 303(d) list.
