Description: This dataset consists of 20m-interval contours as generated using ArcGIS software from the source dataset described as a 100m bathymetric grid or Digital Elevation Model (DEM) in ESRI grid format produced by the Active Tectonics and Seafloor Mapping Lab at Oregon State University specifically for the OR State Territorial Sea Planning Process. The source dataset covers the continental shelf of Oregon including nearshore waters and was produced using the best available raw input (soundings) from various sources at the time of publication, May 2011. This "best available" input data includes high-resolution (less than 8m grid node spacing) for several regions of Oregon's State Waters mapped under the OSU Oregon State Waters Mapping Program and by NOAA Contractors working cooperatively with OSU to collect data in priority areas. High-resolution data was mixed with existing historic soundings data avaialble online at the NGDC to produce a uniform 100m grid node spaced dataset in WGS84 UTM10N and reduced to MLLW.
