Description: This layer contains Denver's City Council Districts as they were defined during the redistricting process approved on April 30, 2012. These districts were adopted in 2012 via Ordinance 242; Council Bill 286. This layer also contains records for the at-large candidates (to be consistent with previous City Council District layers).The Denver's City Council districts are effective for the municipal election on May 7, 2019, and for any general or special council election held thereafter. The resulting elected Council District representatives take office; and representation of constituents within the new boundaries begins on July 15, 2019. Newly elected representatives names publish on that date.
