Areas that have been reclaimed. Reclaimed = areas that have held vegetation for more than one year.
This feature class contains all disturbance boundaries for all sites. Disturbance is classified as : 1. Planned 2. In Progress or 3. Complete.
Geometry and attributes are maintained by the Land Strategy group as needed.
New disturbance digitized with delivery of ortho defined by year or as disturbance is captured by survey or drone.
Mine disturbance can only belong to one mine operation - not two at the same time. Ownership goes to the mine that touched the ground last.
Currently FRO is spoiling over GHO's mine disturbance therefore FRO's dissolved disturbance will cover GHO's distubane this will make GHO's total footprint smaller than in the past and FRO's mine footprint will increase.
At Cardinal River Mine (CRm) disturbance boundaries were reviewed and updated with year of disturbance (DisturbDate) using orthophoto (2007 & 2010-2022), SPOT image (2004) and air photos (2004 & 2001). Disturbance boundaries were digitized at a scale of 1:5,000.
