The ATS V4.1 Polygons are constructed from the coordinates of the governing section corners in ATS V4.1, and delivered in Geographic/NAD83 Shape file format.The product includes Provincial coverage of legal sub division (LSD), quarter section, section, each with statutory road allowances, and township polygons.

The distribution of Property - Alberta Township System (ATS) data to the public is provided by AltaLIS Ltd., distributing agent for the Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd. (ADP), formerly Spatial Data Warehouse Ltd. (SDW), on behalf of the Government of Alberta. The Property - Alberta Township System (ATS) data includes a GIS-ready mapping database created by Alberta Environment and Parks and includes the following: Provincial coverage of legal sub division (LSD), quarter section, section, each with statutory road allowances, and township polygons, derived from ATS V4.1 coordinates. This product is available from AltaLIS Ltd. under the Province of Alberta’s ‘Open Government Licence’.
