Service Description: This Web Map communicates the locations in Raleigh, NC that should be prioritized when assessing suitable locations for a new traffic control device. These sites were found by analyzing the locations with: a history of pedestrian or cyclist crashes resulting in injury or fatality; within one mile of a public school; within one mile of a park; within a census tract with a relatively high social vulnerability index (SVI); and within a census tract with a relatively high population of minors. The data were downloaded from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Wake County Open Data Portal.
