Service Description: The Warrensburg Colored School Registers (1940-1950) are sourced from Greene County Schools at 932 West Summer Street, Greenville, TN 37743. Ellen Myers, Greene County Schools Materials Clerk/ESP Assistant provided access to the original records. The records were digitized on-site by Black in Appalachia’s Community Archivist, Alona Norwood, starting on July 25th, 2021 and uploaded to the digital database Omeka on September 28th, 2021. Rory Church from Tusculum College in Tennessee transcribed the Warrensburg Colored School records during the 2022-2023 academic school year.
