Description: This dataset shows the 40-acre spacing exceptions approved by the Oil and Gas commission which correspond with Public Land Survey System (PLSS) Sections. Owned by the Arizona Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AZOGCC) and administered by ADEQ, this infrequently updated dataset is used to inform operators, the public, and permitting staff of the variances and was derived from the GISNP_SCHEMA.BLM_TRS dataset in SDEPRD which is sourced from the Arizona BLM Geospatial Business Platform PLSS feature service.The Unit Name field in the dataset distinguishes the entity that was granted the exception.Ranger Development, LLCAt the properly noticed Arizona Oil & Gas Conservation Commission public hearing on April 6, 2018, the AZOGCC addressed Ranger Development, LLC's request for spacing exception under Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R12-7-104(E). Ranger requested approval to drill for gas on 40 acre spacings.
