Description: An analysis of the Appalachian coal regions mountain top removal practices. A comparison of the 2005 analysis with the 2010 images. in 2010 LandSat images were taken of the region. An unsupervised classification was undertaken revealing that 267306.28 acres have been used for mountain top removal coal mining. An overrall accuracy of 91.75 was achieved.
