Description: Complaints of groundwater contamination to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) for oil and gas related incidents. Laura Legere of the Scranton Times-Tribune submitted a Right-to-Know request to obtain this data. This data was then mapped by FracTracker Alliance using the geographic centroids of the municipalities where the complaints occurred. This version of the data includes a count of the complaints by municipality in the “Complaints” data column.
